Week 8 Progress

Image
I am happy with my progress in this class so far. I feel like I have kept up and completed each assignment needed so I am happy with that. I am most proud of all the different types of stories I have written so far. I feel like I have done many different styles of writing, even some out of my comfort zone. I do have a good weekly schedule going. My favorite assignment has been the project and having the freedom to write it about whatever I want. I think it has been very fun to pick a topic that I enjoy and an interested in. I have not don any of the extra credit assignments yet. I think things have gone well in terms of my blog and website, I think they are coming along nicely.  I think in the second half of the semester I will try to do some of the extra credit so I can try to finish in week 13. I also think I will try to get ahead of schedule so that I can finish early as well. I don't think there is anything I want to change with my blog or website I think I just want to keep o

Week 8 Comments and Feedback

Image
I think the feedback that I am receiving is great. it is really helping me to improve my writing. I think the constructive comments that also leave positives notes with. When they tell me something that I can improve on and also something they enjoyed that I did in my story, I find those to be the most helpful. I find that the strategy I use is the one listed above. I try to leave positive comments as well as things they can improve on and it find it to be the most effective for myself writing that way. I do also get good ideas and inspiration when reading other students stories that they have written. I definitely think am getting to know people from the class. I think the introductions are a highlight of the class. It is very interesting to read what people write about themselves and to also see the pictures that they posted along with the blogpost. I am happy with how my introduction has gone and how people have gotten the chance to know me through it. I think that I can leave long

Week 8 Reading and Writing

Image
The reading and writing assignments are working very well for me. I enjoy reading the different stories each week and having the ability to pick which story it is I want to read. I am happy with both my blog and project website. I think my blog post is well organized and easy to navigate through. I also like my project website because I think it is eerie and represents the villain and evil aspect of the stories I am writing about. I am satisfied with how my writing is going. I found it very fun writing my first story for my project. I also like writing about the stories because I think its fun how I get to put my own twist on things. I think my biggest accomplishment thus far has been my first story I wrote for my project. I really enjoyed how I wrote it and I found it interesting. My favorite reading so far has been the Brer Rabbit readings. I knew some basic stories about it but I didn't realize how many there were and how many different characters there were. I would say that m
