Reading Notes: The Monkey King

On an island called the Mountain of Flowers and Fruits there is a rock that began the world. One day the rocked bursted and out came an ape. He learned to walk and jump and do all of sort things which scared the lord of the heavens. So he called two gods to see what was happening. The apes once found a waterfall and said that whoever could go down without injury would be the king. So the stone ape went down and found a heavenly cave. They went through and found pots and platters made of stone. Then the stone ape was named handsome King of the Apes and he made other people appointed positions as well. 

One day the King of Apes got sad and his friends asked what was wrong. The King of Apes said he was crying because he knew he was going to die one day and then all the other apes started to cry as well. An old ape then told them that some things don't die. Like gods and blessed spirits. So the apes decided that they would go see these things and bring them gifts. The King of Apes then went on a boat all the way to Asia and pretended to be a human and get that experience. He stayed there for a long time then he decided he would go over the western sea. he heard someone singing in the woods and decided to go see who it was. 

The ape saw a wood-chopper and called him a god but the wood-chopper admitted he was just a worker. The ape asked why he was singing a song and he said that he was taught the song from a God so the ape figured a god was close. The ape knocked on the gods door and said that he is in search of the truth. So I man lead him through to the master. The master named the ape Sun Wu King.

 Hello! My name is Sophie Martin. I am from Orange County, California. I was born and raised there so I know the area very well. Although my family has moved a few times we have generally live in the same part of Orange County. I am very close to my family. I have two older sisters who are amazing. This cat was her best friend they were together all day. During the night the cat would turn into a human and come into her bed to keep her company. One day the girl woke up and realized she was pregnant. The family knew it was from the cat and they were ashamed at the situation. So they killed the cat and left the girl to fend for herself.
