Psyche went searching for the love of her life, Cupid. But she did not know that Cupid was injured. Venus found out he was injured and was furious. Venus found out he was in love in Psyche and did not like the idea of them together. she tried to do all I her power to make him not love her and even scolded him for the fact that he loved her. She went to her two friends and told them the news and they told her that she should worry about it and that her son is old enough to make his own decisions.

Meanwhile Psyche was still wandering looking for her soul mate. She was looking for him day and night. While she was searching she came across Ceres and told her how Venus was trying to find her to ruin her and Cupids love for each other. Psyche asked Ceres for help because she was scared but Ceres said that she is loyal to Venus because they have been friends for such a long time and she does not want to betray her. Psyche also cried and prayed for help from Juno but Juno stated the same in that her loyalty is also with Venus because of their long lasting bond.

Psyche gave up on trying to do anything else and prepared herself to face Venus. Venus looked all on earth for Psyche but could not find her so she decided to try the heavens. Venus went back into the heavens and seemed out the messenger to help her find out where Psyche is. Psyche finally showed up to where Venus was and Venus immediately started to get rough with her. Venus gave Psyche three very difficult tasks. She completely all of them but Venus was unimpressed. Psyche completely the last task which resulted in her falling asleep.

Cupid finally felt better from his injury and now wanted to see his wife. She went about looking to find his wife and found her asleep. He woke her with a touch of his arrow. In the end they had a wedding celebration and lived happily together.
