Adam and Eve Part 2

Bibliography: Adam and Eve by Louis Ginzberg myth-folklore-unit-adam-and-eve.html

God create the many gardens and put Adam and Eve in the gardens. God saw them come to the gate of the garden and woke them from the state they were in. God told Adam that after 5 days he will be saved but Adam did not understand and asked that God explain what this means. God explained it to Adam. Adam and Eve thought that god was trying to kill them and they feared for their life. But God had mercy for them. They came across a cave but Adam did not want to enter it. They entered the cave and they prayed until Adam died. Eve cried and wished for god to forgive her for her sins. God gave mercy and awoken Adam. God told Eve that she had done this to herself by not obeying him and the rules he put upon the world. They wept but they did further their love for god and knew him as a father. God called everything from the earth to know both Adam and Eve and to give them grace. Adam and eve came out of the gate and wished to see the world again. They were upset at the fact that they could not go into the gardens and looked at their reflection in the water. They fell into it wishing to die. God saw what they did and rose them from their death. Adam and Eve became thirty but knew they should not drink the water. They wept in remembrance of the garden which they used to live in. Adam wished upon God to be taken out of the darkness but God could not do it. Adam wished to be taken out of the darkness but God told them they needed to suffer to see the light again. They prayed and eventually got out of the cave and saw light again. The serpent tried to trick Adam and Eve again but God sent down an angel to save them. God sent the serpent away and told them that he would not be coming back. Adam and Eve then flew themselves from the mountain and God looked at them dead. He raised them. Adam praised God and worshipped him and God granted him his word which blessed Adam.

I thought this was a beautiful image that represented Adam and Eve.
